Earlier John Abraham could not tie up his schedule with Chenab Gandhi Movie because of his busy schedule but later seeing his availability for Chenab Gandhi Movie, Sanjay leela Bhansali appraoched him again and took him in the movie as the replacement ofHurman Baweja.
The period political drama based on the freedom fighter from North West Frontier Province, widely known as Frontier Gandhi, also stars Vidya Balan apart from Amitabh and John Abraham.
